He only had a truck and most of the time we had the cab full their was usually four of us in the front but they were glad to ride in the back. I remember one time this was after I had moved down to Vegas and my brother was getting married my mom had gone home early to get things ready for the wedding because they were being married in Redmond so my dad and I drove home after we had both gotten off work so it was around 10 or 11 at nightand he stops way out in no where on the desert. He rode with us till ve got to Cove Fort and we needed to turn there so he got out becasue he was headed toward Fillmore. I wondered at the time why he would pick up someone that late at night but he just never would pass up anyone. Now days it isn't that safe. Dean also used to always do that. When ever he came home for a visit he told of picking up someone and giving them a ride. We helped out a young girl one day that her car had broke down we were coming from Hurricane and she was headed to St. George and was on her way to work. At first she was a little afraid to till she seen both grandpa and I in the car. Anyway it makes you feel good to be able to help someone out in need.

GrandmaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34067218.post-5357253695200956412007-02-21T13:35:00.000-05:002007-02-21T13:35:00.000-05:00Ditto Chrislynn's comment. I am grateful for our amazing parents, and awesome family!Kd Perkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05973546905048502114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34067218.post-17084336971176399942007-02-20T21:04:00.000-05:002007-02-20T21:04:00.000-05:00As I read the story I was thinking the exact same ...As I read the story I was thinking the exact same thing about how Dad used to help people like that. What a great opportunity to provide a service, and aren't we lucky to have the parents that we do?Chrislynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09321627886329974296noreply@blogger.com
