Life

I have a few good reasons why I've been such a blogging slacker.

#1. I have a newborn baby! Ok, he's officially a month old but that just means he's getting bigger and wants to eat more. Which takes more time but I love him. He's doing great. Growing fast and starting to smile. I haven't caught this on camera yet but hopefully soon.

#2. I'm taking a spanish class. I have no clue what I was thinking when I signed up for this. I started when J was 11 days old. The class is Monday thru Thursday 10:00 - 11:00am. This doesn't sound very early but when you've only had about 5 hours of interrupted sleep (on a good night) It can be really early. Oh yeah, I have to leave the house at 8:30 because of reason #3.

#3. Isaac started school! He's loving it. Today he told me his teacher was perfect. I love that he loves to learn. He's growing up so fast! For the next month his school is from 9-1pm. That means a lot of running around.

#4. I've been obsessed with a couple new books. I'm a total dork because its teenage fiction but I love it! I've finished all three books within a few days. That's really good since I'm totally sleep deprived. If you need a good fast read I'd suggest the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

#5. I have a super cute yet emotional little 2 year old girl. She's obsessed with anything to do with a princess. It's really cute. She tells me the Cinderella story everyday at least 10 times. She's also becoming quite the little spanish speaker.

#6. I flew to NY and back within 3 days. Totally crazy and fun but next time I hope the trip is a little longer. That's a really long flight. Btw, Joaquin did an awesome job!

#7. I want to see my husband at least for a few minutes everyday so I stay up instead of going to sleep early. I don't mind this one. I love him to death!

#8. Did I mention I'm tired.

#9. I'd rather read everybody else blogs than write something.

#10. I have to much to blog about but get distracted really easy so I write silly lists.

I'm loving life right now. I can't believe how blessed I am. I'm so thankful for my family and friends. Thanks so much! Now I have to go feed J and figure out what to make for dinner for everyone else.

I love the way you are positive about counting your blessings. We should all be so upbeat about our lives, and we'd be a lot happier.

Very good reasons for being MIA- you've got your hands full lady! Your children are darling and are so fortunate to have parents who care about them so much and care about themselves enough to better themselves. You do know many of us are living viacarious through you and your europe adventures, so we appreciate the update now and then. After you sleep!

Thanks so much for the pictures you sent. Now you will have to get a family picture of all five of you. Tell Isaac g-grandpa and granny love the pictures he sent us and have them on the frig so we can see them every day. I figured you were probably pretty tired after your quick trip to NY. Give all three of the kids hugs and kisses from us.
Love you

I know you don't know me, but I stumbled upon your blog through Amberlys blog (we've knowed eachother since elementary school), and noticed that you're living in Madrid. I served my mission there and was just wondering what ward you attend. Sorry if this is weird of me to comment.

How cool! We're in Barrio 5. How long ago did you serve here? Feel free to read our blog especially if you comment. We love getting comments.

I served in bario cinco for 5 months! I loved it there! I got home almost 6 years ago, but served in bario cinco almost 7 years ago. It's been a while. I wonder if some of the same members are there. I was Hermana Preston when I was there. I don't know if anyone would remember me or not. How do you like it over there?

Sounds like you are doing amazing with three children. You are so good to be taking the spanish class. I might have to have you teach me when you get home. Are you picking it up any better with the class?
