Vegas is hot! For my Mom's birthday we decided - very last minute - to fly to Vegas and surprise her. Some how my Dad managed to keep it a secret. If you know him you know this is next to impossible. Thanks Dad. It was so fun to be in on a secret with Isaac and Stella. They loved the whole surprise idea. It was great. Especially when we ran in the house and yelled Happy Birthday Grandma Karen. She was a little shocked.

Being in Vegas has been great. We've been swimming, playing at parks, eating all kinds of yummy food like Cafe Rio and In'n'Out, done a little back to school shopping but mainly spent a lot of time with grandma & grandpa martinez. It's great to see my kids interact with my parents. I love it.

Tomorrow we are off to St. George to see Granny & Grandpa Heard. They are super excited to meet Joaquin. Then we are off to Blanding. Isaac keeps asking when he can play with his cousins. So I hope they are ready. We can't wait!!!

Eryka,

Hi! It was good to hear from you. It looks like you are doing wonderful. You have such a beautiful little family! We no longer live in Vegas, we moved to Utah about a year ago. I wish I was there so I could see you. If you are ever up North drop me a note. Tell Drew hi.

It made my day, and it has been great getting to get to know my grandkids better. I love you Eryka, Thank you so much for the surprise. And Thank You Drew for sharing your wife and children with us, we really have had alot of fun. We love you all.

It was great seeing all of you. So good to finally get to see Joaquin for the first time. So enjoyed seeing everyone. Isaac was a little disappointed g=grandpa had taken down the train he so wanted to see. They also remembered the M & M machine. Joaquin liked it also for his first time. Enjoyed our lunch together and play8ing at the water park which was new to you. It is a great hit her in hot St. George. Cooled the kids down also. The 3 had a good time it seems. Looking forward to when you come back through.

Erica, What a great surprise. I am so glad you were able to pull it off. I still get a kick that some of your family is from Blanding. I wonder if some how we are related. My dad and great grandmother were natives of Blanding.

Eryka hope you and the kids made it back home fine. We sure enjoyed seeing all of you and so enjoyed getting to know the kids. Tell Isaac that g-grandpa will try and have the train up next time he comes. Hope the kids were able to sleep all the way home.
Love you all
