We had an exciting week...

Monday I had a doctor's appt. and found out that I have a broken foot.  My sesamoid bone is fractured in 2.  So now I have physical therapy 3 to 4 times a week for the next 6 weeks.  Moral of the story is... if you hurt your foot and it really really hurts you should probably go to the ER instead of wait 2 months and then go.

Tuesday Stella got a super cute haircut.  She was so good.  She sat still and loved it.  The haircut is so cute on her.  I love it and so does she.

Friday I helped Ashley construct a fort for the kids.  We went to Home Depot and bought wood and everything else and then came home and attempted to put it together.  A few hours longer than expected we had our first "shantee" under our belts.  It was so much fun to make and the kids loved it!

Saturday was the most productive yet.  I went to the temple that morning and when I got home Drew had already mowed the lawn and was just starting to stain our deck.  It was a beautiful day so the kids played and we worked.  Drew stained away while I worked on grouting our kitchen backsplash.  Halfway through I ran out of grout and helped Drew.  Isaac also set up a lemonade stand and made a few bucks.  It was a successful day!

Today we went to church and came home and took naps.  I love sunday naps.

Guess who got a haircut?  Doesn't Stella look good!  I love her new haircut and she does too!

The "Shantee" built by Ashley and myself.  It looks way easier to build than it was but it was FUN!!

My little entrepreneur.  His first lemonade stand.  Isaac really has big plans and some great ideas to make an extra buck.
The trouble maker.

Our newly stained deck.
Our jungle or backyard.

Isaac, what a big boy, good job on your first lemonade stand.
Joaquin, what do you mean trouble maker, he's GMa Karen's little angel.
GMa Karen really misses all of you, I had a great time with you last month.
Eryka and Drew the yard looks great and the deck really looks nice. The lawn in the front looks really great, I like the pots by the front door too.

I keep meaning to call or email but you know how quick the day goes by without knowing it. I will though! You have such a fun family. I love how you are always doing such fun things together. I love Stella's haircut. Hallie has the same one and it is the best. We will be in Utah this summer, are you going to be?

I want to play in the shanty, buy lemonade, hold the little beauty on my lap and brush her hair, and go for a walk with the troublemaker. You need to post some pictures that show a true perspective of how steep your back yard is. We miss you all.
