The first day!

London was so much fun. Here are a few of our favorites...

Isaac & Stella really loved the Natural History Museum. They had a lot of fun learning about dinosaurs and how they lived.

Who said flying with three kids is hard? I don't know how it happened but these guys love to fly and are little angels on the plane for me.
The Natural History Museum.
Scaling the walls. A favorite pastime!
I know Stella is 2 and she still has her binky in her mouth for all of these pictures but she was really sick and it made my life a lot easier. How do you get rid of the binky? Any suggestions?
I love these guys.

Joaquin wasn't as impressed with the dinosaurs.

Isaac's photography skills!

Isaac's hand compared to a couple of dinosaur teeth.

Eryka, you are a rock star! I can barely get my one kid to a park and you are traveling around Europe with three! I am glad you had fun, London is pretty cool.

p.s. Isaac did a great job taking that picture, what a cute family.

You really have such amazing children! I am sure it has a lot to do with the parents. I am so glad that you guys have had the opportunity to go to so many places. Your kids will love the memories.

sounds like a complete success, glad you had such a great time and got to see a little of everything- as for the binky situation... my mom cut mine up with scissors when I was little and let me find it on my bed. I claimed it was "bwoken" and that was the end of it! sounds cruel, I know, but I don't feel scarred for life!

scout used a binky until she was 4. so a 2 year old with one doesn't even bother me!!!

Eryka, sounds like the trip went very well. My experience with the binky is first ask why you are getting rid of it. Social or for dental/speech reasons? Maybe both. If it is only for social then you shouldn't let it bother you. Lucas had his until age 3 mainly b/c we were moving and there were too many transitions in his life that I didn't want to mess with it. We tried the approach of he could only have it in his bed/crib or carseat. That seemed to work sometimes. How we finally got rid of it was one night I couldn't find it before bed after tearing the entire room apart and told him it was lost. It really was lost so he didn't have a choice. He understood this and was fine with it. One week later he slamed his entire arm in the car door so we gave it back to him and he took it for the 30 mintues to calm him down and after that he didn't want it anymore. He was 3 though so he understood completely what was going on. With Micah I won't even try until at least 2 1/2. I have found that if he doesn't have a binky he is chewing and sucking his fingers. I find that more annoying than the binky. Don't stress over it or be embarrassed. If people judge you for that then they have bigger problems in life:) Just my two cents.
